{Our Sunday Evening}

So I know it's not currently Sunday evening, or even Monday morning, but I want to post about what Frank and I did after we got back from spending time with our family!
We put up our Christmas tree! :D
My camera doesn't work very well in darker places, so a lot of the pics are blurry-ish, but it was the best we could do!  I wish my self-timer worked... it'd be nice to have some pictures of both of us...

OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TREE!! :D
So we obviously did not put the lights on yet, or any ornaments, but you'll see pictures of those later on ;)
We listened to some good ol' classics: Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr., Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Paul McCartney, The Beatles, and some others.  We talked about all of the different Christmas' we have ahead of - together by ourselves, and with our kids someday.  We had fun putting our tree together, and we had fun decorating it too :)

Have you put your tree up yet?  How soon do you like to get your tree up and decorated?

{Thanksgiving With the Fam} Brazell Edition

This is our first Thanksgiving together and we are so excited!  Frank and I are planning on spending the actual day of Thanksgiving as just the two of us having tofurky roast, grilled asparagus, fresh English peas, homemade cranberry sauce, homemade potatoes, and sweet potatoes.  I'm pumped for this Thursday!
This past Sunday, we spent some time celebrating Thanksgiving with Frank's family!  We had a great time talking and catching up, I helped in the pie making area {apple, coconut and pretzel} and he played in the guitar area.  We watched A Christmas Story (I had never seen it before), we ate potato soup for dinner, we got all of the Christmas decorations down from the attic, Frank shared the Progress of Redemption, played a little football but came inside because it was too cold.  It was just a good and fun day :)

This is our first Thanksgiving together!

{Brazell Interviews} Frank

Meet: Frank {Brazell}
So Frank and I have been married for almost 11 months now (1 year is right around the corner!) and there's always something new to learn about each other.  Every now and again, we ask each other silly questions, play Truth or Truth, and give each other interviews.  I decided to record one of these interviews of Frank because I want something tangible to look back on and to share with my readers!  So without further ado, here is my husband, Frank Brazell :)

These are the written Questions
(the 'funner' answers are in the video ;)
#1.  What book were you reading this time last year?  The Rise and Fall of the British Empire
#2.  If you could carve any animal out of wood, what animal would you choose?
#3.  Who is your favorite character from Star Wars, and why?
#4.  What is your most preferred time to wake up in the morning?
#5.  What is your favorite not-so-known holiday?
#6.  If there is one thing we can experience together before we die, what would you want that to be?
#7.  If you could be a character in any book (character can 'exist' or you can make up a new one) what would you be?
#8.  What does your ideal winter afternoon look like?
#9.  What is your favorite article of clothing?
#10. If there is one article of clothing you would like to see me in more, what would it be? (he said heels)

{Not Your Fault || AWOLNATION}

Today's Song of the Day
Frank first came across AWOLNATION's Sail right after we first started dating (2011).  Since then, we have been true fans.  This song is so cool to blast and get pumped about doing stuff.

Creative clay-mation, right? :)

What songs get you pumped to get things done?

{Last Weekend's Activities}

~Friday~
This totally cool couple invited us {and others} over to their humble abode for an evening of new friends and pumpkin food:
{Jared and Kerry}

That's where we met and befriended this couple...:
{Joseph and Mariah}

...and caught up with this cool couple:
{Daniel and Rebecca}

~Saturday~
After 7 hours of Herm in the library, we saw the play {Play On!} production:

and hung out with our friend {who is basically family} Megan:

{Her part was our favorite; every time the lights dimmed or grew, I was proud ;) }

~Sunday~
Sunday night is date night. We went to McAlister's and ate food and talked and read Harry Potter and Sense and Sensibility!

We concluded the evening with rearranging our living room area, and going to bed after a long and tiring weekend.  Now it's back to the grind!

Happy Monday, world changers!  How was your weekend?
